Once the samples are confirmed by the customer and the balance payment is received, we proceed with preparing the mould for shipment.
1. Documents Preparation:
After confirming the mold delivery details, our design department will prepare and review the waterway and oil circuit drawings.
All 2D and 3D designs, along with the mold testing video, will be copied onto a CD and sent to the customer with the mold.
We will also print and include the Mold Operation Instructions. If a mold temperature control box is involved, the Temperature Control Box Operation Instructions will also be provided.
2. Mould Packaging:
Cleaning:
Open the mould and clean all parts thoroughly with clean diesel, ensuring no residue remains. Photographs will be taken for documentation.
Rust Prevention:
Spray antirust paint on the mold cavity, core surface, and especially on the parting face to prevent corrosion.
Sealing:
Close the mould and apply a paste mixture to the exterior surfaces. For areas like the ejection plate that cannot be pasted, antirust paint will be sprayed.
Wrapping:
Wrap the mold in multiple layers of plastic film to prevent rust and provide protection. For added security, the mold will be wrapped again with bubble wrap.
Packing:
All spare parts and documents will be packed with the mold and secured using adhesive tape. The mold will then be placed in a wooden box, which will be nailed shut for shipment.
Shipping:
The mold will be shipped by sea or subway, based on the customer’s preference.
With this detailed preparation, SWY ensures that the mold arrives in perfect condition. For further details, feel free to contact Shine:
